My new corals arrived...with a bonus!!!

So I mentioned in a previous thread that I had found a deal on a 10-pack of corals on eBay. I decided to drop the $150 and order them yesterday, and I just got confirmation from my roommate that they have arrived and are being acclimated as I speak...er type!

So here is what I ended up ordering:

Limited Edition Garf Bonsai Acro

When I talked to my roomie, she said that she was floating the bags. She said she had 4 in the tank, and 8 still in the box about to go in…I know what you are thinking, because I thought the same thing – 8+4=12…

I had her count twice, and she said she was sure it was 12. So I had her read the labels and in fact 2 of them were labeled as ‘free!’

So For $150, shipping included, I got everything listed above, plus 2 as-of-yet unidentified freebies!

I will post pics as soon as I get home, and I may have a post in ID for the other two depending on what I find when I get to my tank.

BTW I asked the guy if he happened to be on 3reef.com, and he wasn’t even aware it existed. I told him he needed to check it out because I spend more time than I care to admit reading through everything here! He seemed to dig the idea of joining up, so maybe I helped bring another into the fold

I am finally home and i just placed the last of the frags. I actually got even more than i thought. The GSP that i thought was one small frag, was actuall 4 frags and all of them look great. He threw in a frag of super pink palys and they are HUGE! The frag has 3 polyps that are each bigger than a dime in diameter.

He also threw in some really nice yellow eagle eye zoas to go with the standard eagle eyes that i ordered.

I have to say that of all the coral i have purchased, even in stores, this stuff looks better than anything i have seen. I honestly don't see how it all arrived looking so good. And the freebies were better than i expected. I thought they would be some basic junk that i would debate on taking to my LFS for credit, but instead i find that they are actually a couple of sweet corals.

I am going to have to get pics a little later. My camera has apparently died and my camera phone sucks...

BTW, there was a post earlier from someone looking for some cheap superman coral. This guy has it and also supergirl. His price is the best i have seen, and the coral is amazing looking.

Actually, I like ordering online because I usually get free stuff. (not from the real big businesses or sites, but you need to find a reputable dealer). Can't wait to see the pics.
