ive been going through DamselsRcool's perpetual posts and enjoying it a lot. maybe because im a beginner myself with a similar nano set-up. in the last part he shared his inspiration in the fish hobby, and since then it has become mine too. this photo now resides on my desktop screen!

right now my tank is just a FOWLR.

but my simple dream is to have something similar to that tank. i know, i know its not that simple. that tank has been running for 6 years now while mine is just a month and a half old. a looooong long way to go..... but this hobby is a lifelong learning activity. and patience is a hard virtue to develop.

with lack of knowledge and a ton of enthusiasm, ive made mistakes along the way. i might make more mistakes in the future, but it wont stop me from my dream...

this has been my passion since the first day i bumped into an LFS about 16 years ago. now that im 28, married with one kid, im only beginning to fulfill my grand dream of starting a marine tank. you can never seem to outgrow your passion. its who you are... its your life! and its something you can take pride and show to the whole world- "hey! im a fish expert!".

Wait until two or three years go by, things are going well with your nano and you want to expand into a 75 gallon or larger. Whoo-hoo!

Best of luck to you, love your aquascape by the way. My dream is to one day have a beautiful 150+ gallon SPS tank...I'll need a good job.
