My impulse by from today (RK Plus)

Mine said 87.5 when i first put it in and there is no way my water was that high so ill check it will check it with a new thermometer and calibrate is according.

Do you run MH ?

 

No leds why? My temp was hitting that high from the mag24 I was running for a closed loop. I think there is something wrong with it cuz it was heating up the water alot and not even submerged. As soon as I turned it off temp would start dropping.

Checked my reference checker with a glass of ice and water and was 1°C off so I adjusted accordingly and verified it with a laser thermometer and its approximately right now I guess...pretty sure....I think...

Lol I'm not...its hard to be sure when these, what you think should be accurate modern devices, aren't and it makes me unsure lol. One of the things I used was a fairly high end laser temp reader...it was only good to half a degree though and was more designed for high temp things though. The other I used was a handheld tds meter that was off by a +1°C the laser was +/-1.5°F. This was check against ice water that was sitting like 15/30 min. Which should be close to 32°
