    Think i'm down about 2000, plus around 700 in gifts after (2-3 years) and still need to spend at least another 1000 before i can even put water in lol
    and theres plenty more stuff i'll still need/want after that
    almost gave up when i actually added it all up, but the nano keeps me going.
    i think it will all be worth it eventually :)

    craigslist is your friend if you know what your looking for . . .

    I just picked up a 75 gallon reef with probably 1000-1200 worth of livestock (retail) in it with a huge chiller, lighting, deltec skimmer, + a ton more for $650. only needed a quarantine tank for my 180, but after keeping everything I wanted (coral and fish wise) and selling off un-needed equipment I ended up ahead of the game $500.
