    if you want to use their water, thats fine, but you need to buy some dry salt to add to it to raise your salinity to 1.024-.025. then top off with FRESH RO water, no SALT. if you do this, your salinity will always stay the same, unless you are wet skimming lots off.

    Oh, and take back any live stock you currently have, as it will probably not make it through the cycle. the LFS told you it was fine because they wanted to make a sale, and another after you replace your dead livestock.

    this i asked in my lfs when buying all this equiptment they siad it would be ok for some soft corals give it a few days then is will be ok to ad a shrimp or a hermy but no fish for about 2 months due to cycle. i also have ceen monitoring all temps and water condition and everythings happening nice.
    it was only the salinity of the water that is getting to me as it hasnt changed since buying it. the corals are doing well also

    not to sound rude but like everyone is saying to you is its too early for anything you have in your tank, if your pet store is a good one they will tank all the live stock back for you till your tank is ready, also what lights are you running for your corals?

    all waters tested again today.... lovely jubbly. salinity a bit low but going to correct this today. this should also take care of my ph a bit better

    shrimps doing well and all corals are looking good. lifes getting better and better and even a few bleached ones i had free are coming around better with colour.
