    you should be feeding your fish what they can eat within 30seconds.. and if you feed your fish till they stop eating, you may be feeding for a good hour in some cases..
    you can see if you are overfeeding when there are food sitting around at the bottom of the tank.. worse yet, if you start getting algae problems, that is one way of identifying that you are likely over feeding and that there are too much nutrients in the tank for the algae

    I want one Meagan but I don't want to take the time to make a top for my 55....
    I am ate up with Laziness...It's good you done your homework before the purchase....So many other's don't and then regret it....Good Luck....
