My clownfish trying to host frogspawn

    Well the title says it all, this is my false perc clowntryong to host the frogspawn just a day after it was added to the tank...

    what type of rocks do you have? ive never seen live rock with that structure.

    lol yea i know you probably expected a comment about the frogspawn. so does the perc try to feed it.

    Looks like the base rock i just bought. Anyways, frogspawns > anemone anyways :p

    It's not unheard of for clowns to try to host a variety of things, especially frogspawn and corals like it.

    I have a maroon that hosts the upper right hand rear corner of my tank and one of the rocks, whichever it feels like at the time, yet could care less about the bubble tip or seabe anemone in it's tank.

    very cool i have so many euphilla for my clowns to host, but they are non-hosters..lol

    but watch the frogspawn closely, clowns are notorious spawn killers.
    they can molest it to death.

    my tank bred ocellarus hosted in my pulsing xenia even with a bubble tip in the tank for the first few days - eventually he moved 8)

    my clown hosted in my large feather duster for about two weeks i would have thought it would have retracked but it did'nt the clown stopped when the duster tube was bent over sideway's it took months before the duster was stright up again
