I know I am not the only one. What strange behaviors do your clowns demonstrate? I know some things are species/genus traits, others are just pure personality.

My female likes to eat Cyano. At first I thought she was going after something on the rock like a pod... then I saw her grazing on cyano like it was a salad bar. They're already over fed.... I think she just likes it.

The male likes to do barrel rolls through their cave. He'll do his little mating dance and then do 2-3 barrel rolls. He also does head stands and sometimes he just kinda...for lack of better description...falls over. He'll be swimming then seem to forget whish way is up, and kinda spaz out... roll around, nose dive into the sand, then get back to normal... maybe he's narcoleptic?

They both nip at me when I put my hands in the tank....like pull out arm hairs even.

Mine are not quite as active as yours, but the male does like to dance for the female. The funniest thing I saw was the female drag the male out of the rocks by his tail fin, then start nipping at him until he did the shudder dance and submit to her. Man did she have attitude that day.

    my clown is nuts
part of the reason i got him
he was just going crazy spinning going in circles and shaking
    i thought it was cool

in my tank he likes to go behind the power head then dart out and ride the current around the tank before going again.

I hand feed my tang and clown, using my fingers, the clown likes to swim into my palm and lay up against my hand when he's done eating, then he flips water with his tail up towards the top of the tank, a signal that I am no longer welcome in the tank!!

My clowns are pretty chill. the only thing they really do is put their nose to the glass and swim as hard as they can. Kind of funny to see though.

And people wonder why clowns are so popular. Its not nemo there just a hardy cheap fish that has more personality than most others. My false perc nips at me when I put my arm in there unwelcome and rubs on it when Im welcome. Either way hes never far away when Im doing something. My clarkii sleeps in an anenome on his side not moving like hes dead. first time I thought the anenome killed him but wasnt big enough to eat him.
