Sorry I missed this some how...:-/

I used Bob Smith 30 minute finishing epoxy. I only bought two 9 oz. packs and could have used one more but the hobby shop is 35 miles away.

Thanks! None of it is glued. I wrapped the ends of the pvc in teflon tape and shoved it into the fittings. Hope it holds water.

Me too. Pressures aren't that high coming out of the tank, not sure on the return though. It won't be that hard to fix the return plumbing if it leaks.

You are more brave than I am. Ball joint fittings are slightly oversized and with minimal pressure they slip off.

Hmm. Don't know about that. The first section I built was a couple inches long and I wanted to cut the section from tee to valve. I could not, even with channel locks for grip, get the pipe to twist out of the valve side so I had to cut it attached to the valve which made it a PITA LOL.

Canopy on and the fill begins :)

I had an afternoon to kill so I replaced the fan that had shorted out and the wife helped me take the canopy down to the shop. I began making water as well and we hauled 15 gallons down. I filled the fuge so the litter would saturate and the dust will settled a bit before I fire the pump up.

I love the canopy design. Gives me some ideas for mine.

Thanks. If I'd built even a 1/4" taller the light fixture above the tank would have to come off.
