Not that bad really. My wife and I lifted it up on the stand. Now when it comes time to move it out of the store, well I'll probably sell it all with a discount if they move it. LOL

Very cool! You're moving this build along quickly - coral business must be good! Can't wait to see water in there!

Thanks Kacy! Yeah it's been pretty decent. Hopefully get some water going this week sometime. Haven't quite figured out how I going to move 105 gallons into it though LOL

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I love the wall, it already looks pretty darn natural, in a couple months it will be awesome. It is really going to look like a piece of the ocean and I am sure people will be in awe.

Looks awsome. Did you press the sand into foam or use epoxy.

Thank you. All I have is pictures and t.v. to go by so I hope it looks good. Plus I forgot my 3-D clay sculpture I made to use for reference.

Thanks John. Once the water goes in it should really pick up speed. I've already been buying macro's and alot of the coral that goes in will come from my 46.

    The plumbing and the sump/fuge

With the tank back up on the stand I was finally able to finish all of the plumbing correctly. I put the new bulk head in and went to town on the job. Originally I wanted to use 3/4" flex pvc for the return to reduce head loss but I don't have the money to buy it for one and after crunching the numbers on a loss calculator I really wasn't losing much by going with sch 40 and two 90* elbows.
So the return is 3/4" to the bulk head, 1/2" pvc to a LocLine adapter and then splits with a "y".
The durso is 1 1/4" sch. 26 pvc which is nice but will be limited in drainage by the 1" reduction at the bulk head. After the bulk head it open back up to 1 1/4" and tee's off. One side goes to the intake area and the other goes to the fuge area of the sump. I put valves in both sides to regulate flow.
The fuge area has a DSB of clay kitty litter and sugar sand mix. There's around 25 lbs of rock in there as well. No plans for the type of macro's I'll put in when the time comes.
