I've already stated that I added a pair of firefish and the PJ cardinals from home. Yesterday I was at the LFS trading frags for fish and 1/2 the bottom dwelling pair I seek...a Tiger Pistol was there. He acclimated fine and has built his first den along the side glass so I can watch him work. :) He(?) snapped 3 times while I was taking pictures and it freaked me out! I thought the glass was cracking haha! My mantis was never that loud. Unfortunately I can't get a clear pic of him. Maybe after the YWG comes in (soon I hope) I will get some good images.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks good! The chromis add a lot of color to the tank as do the fire fish. Looks like the macro algae are holding their own, the red one looks larger. Oh I see the Cardinal just so slightly/shadowy in the cave behind the fire fish.

I love all the macro's you have! Gives the tank a really natural kinda "tide poolish" look. The cardinals to the left of the big rock in the second to last pic! haha

That red you're talking about is Agar grass and it is growing like a weed! I've trimmed it twice and can do it again this week. It also has turned super red under the halides. When I got it it was a purplish red.

Thank you! This build is macro dominant and that is exactly the look I'm going for, a tide pool/shallow water lagoon.

Gary (fighting conch) came up to the glass so I got a couple pics of his eye stalks.

Also got a somewhat clear pic of some un ID'd macro. I got the piece from a fellow reefer. It grew from rock that was taken from the Pacific. John M. believes it to be a type of Kallymenia sp. The pics do not do it justice. The dark blotches give off a blue florescence under the actinics.

Thanks. It is a strange macro and luckily it's doing well in my system. I'll be able to give cuttings to those that want them in the not so distant future.
