Sure does! I think you're going to very happy regarding your decision to keep the center brace out of the front. Nothing like full access! BTW, you could put one in the back if you'd like. It certainly can't hurt. On the other hand, your stand will be more than adequate just as it is now, too. :)

Did you have trouble gluing the Monti's to the overflow. I tried this before with Orange monti cap to a piece of LR ... wanted to glue it ... and the rock couldn't be removed.

I put the glue on the Monti ... but it was a really big pain to try and attach it ... as soon as the Super Glue Gel hit the water ... it wasn't sticky anymore at all.

    What did you do differently?

Well gluing the monti to the overflow was fairly easy. I did use super glue GEL. I took new frags of monti. I used the side that was freshly broken as my gluing surface. Placed a fair amount of glue on their while it was out of water. When it hits water it forms a "dry" coating on the gel. When you put it on the overflow surface you need to move it back and forth a little bit to break that coating it formed when it hit water. You can tell if your doing it right because it sticks nicely. Hold it in place for about 30 seconds and release. Ta Dah ;D You have a glued piec of monti to the overflow. I am pretty sure you will have a rough time on the glass surface. Overflows have the plastic surface which isnt as smooth as the glass.

NOTE: I originally started with 1 inch size frags. To date today they are 3+inches each. They are all pretty close to touching eachother. couple are actually touching eachother. I will take some pictures soon and post.

Id like to experiment with other corals to on the back part of the glass. Need some more coralline algae on the back wall first.

Hope this helps you LoJack and any others trying this.

yeah I didn't plan on gluing to glass or plastic, but to pieces of rock that can't be removed. I like the idea of mountin to the sides of rock, as opposed to setting them on top of pieces of LR.

Thanks for the tips though ... I don't think I was using enough glue ... I didn't put much on. Makes sense the way you say.

No problem. Same thing applies to the rock. I always have to move it back and forth in order for any of my sps to stick to it.
