I just assumed there was space, but ya, if not... it's sealed.

One on each end, two on top.

Well guys.... I have called off the canopy idea :(

After listening to all your guys's input open top is best way. I was trying to go with a defferent look. But I think best is with my fixture hangin over the tank.

Im not gonna invest more money just to have a canopy that may cause me more troubles.

Thanks reefsparky, powerman, and luna for your input.

Wow... that's amazing... how do you do that????

I have never been able to "not do" a grand plan once it's in my head. :D Hence the fish closet and irritated wife. :D

trust me ive been playing ths canopy idea over and over in my head...
literally thinkin bout it constantly. I usually have an idea in my head that I want and go full bore with it. But this time I gotta back down from it. Hard to do:(

I dont wanna start it with experimentation. Plus thats money Icould save towards my Apex aquacontroller ;D

    thank you

I think you made a good choice. Some may disagree, but other than to prevent jumpers, I can't think of a single reason I'd use a canopy.

I am going with a full canopy just to shield light (since it is in a living room where watching movies and so on happens too), as well as stopping jumpers. Mine is enclosed all around and has space for two 100CFM fans in the back. At the moment one will push in, the other pull out. If that seems insufficient at any time, I will be adding a fan in the top, and likely have the side ones push in and the top one pull out. We will see....

Reefsparky, you bring up an interesting point about gas exchange. Your point may lead me to open the back of my canopy at some point, but the back of the stand is open and I will have a fan blowing on the wet/dry with LR in there, so I think gas exchange will be sufficient.

I think the BIGGEST problem with full canopy is... you cant get in there so easily whenever you want! (I have to figure out now how to make it so the canopy can be lifted easily and frequently...

Sweet looking tank Tatted, I love the monti's on the overflow.
