So I haven't really been on this forum as much as I would have liked. When I found this 1 I was getting close to moving. Now I am finally settled, and have some time to type. When I started my tank I got the biggest 1 I could so I'd have some room for error a 55 gal. I found over my first year that I have a combination of gift and luck. But here is the tank I started w/.

    Not much, and really bare.
Over the first year I upgraded everything I could, and filled it w/ all the corals I could get my hands on. It still looked bare. Than came the decision to move, and I started thinking it would be easier to move a smaller tank. So I down sized and after all was said and done I have found for the mean time I am happier w/ the smaller, but more full looking tank. My corals made it w/ little to no stress, and started to grow again right away and faster. I guess now I will need a bigger tank so no 1 kills any 1 else. A 40 B is always on my mind, and I kept everything I'll need for a bigger tank down the road. I find I want to show this 1 though, it just looks that good.

Very nice. Cool layout too. Corals look happy too. What kind of light is on that 20 long?

Any plans for a sump to move that hardware out? Or is this temporary until you get a bigger tank?

    Love the kitten too. )

I have 4 36watt T-5s over it, and my sump is sitting in the corner waiting for the 40B to get set up. The piping was meant to fit my 55, and I am trying to avoid cutting them to fit more than once. Thx on the complement. I have had a couple of corals grow to close to each other and find that I am always watching them for any impending wars that could break out. I also find I have to trim them back more often than I like. Good for trading towards new corals if I had room.
