i got some new corals today (12-31-10)
i got a cabbage leather coral with 15+ heads
a watermelon mushroom rock with 10+ heads
a green striped mushroom rock with 10+ heads
i also got some yellow polyps on a piece of eggcrate.
the cabbage leather was more of a burgandy color under my friends lights. however it is more of a blueish color under my t5s. attached is a top down shot

heres a FTS. (or as close as i could get to one) some things are still closed up, i did a water change earlier. i feel as though it is coming along nicely. i have been taking it slow as to make sure that everything went well with my first tank.

I really like the color of the blue cabbage, I have not seen that color before. Mushrooms are a nice blue too. You have a ton of snails. ;D

yes, john at reefcleaners really hooked me up. they are a great help with newbie mistakes, such as overfeeding. I have 20+ nasarrius snails that effecient to the point of being aggressive. they will climb onto my YWG in packs if he has food.

I see the plate is doing well. I have not been able to keep plates or blue mushrooms for some reason. The lighting and the size of the tank probably has something to do with it.
The cabbages grow fairly quickly and are easily fragged, I love they way they grow out.
