Very nice. I like the oceans motion on a PWM controller... Can you write a program for it?

Also, I know you know better but incase it slipped your mind, make sure to put unions on every side of that bad boy. My friend didn't listen to this and ended up getting a dead snail in the unit. Now he has to drain his whole tank to fix it

 

OK... so it has been a while since I have updated this thread. Figured it was time to start catching up on it.

This has been probably one of the slowest builds ever, and still not done.
With such a slow project, plans do change, get bigger and more elaborate... and technology gets better too.

I finally have the stand built, and have the closed loop plumbed and water in the tank doing a wet test for a week.

I will start re-linking all the pics in the thread in the next couple of days as well as adding a bunch more.
