I bought 3 Banggai cardinal 2 months ago and last week I notice that one of them as a hole and the others 2 are just starting to have a hole. what should I do to help. From what I understand of the disease is that is poor water quality, I thought I was doing ok maybe I am wrong.

My tank is 120 gallons I do water change every week (5 gallons). I use RO/DI and my meter read zero. I use reef crystal for my salt.

Any thought or suggestion to help my fish.

Ho, I had an outbreak of cyano and I used red slime remover could that of done it?

    Thank for any help

I believe it can also be caused by stray voltage in the tank. Do you have a grounding probe in the tank?

I would just put it in the sump, just make sure you plug it into a properly grounded socket. It's a very cheap but necessary precaution to have in your tank.

Not completely sure, i've never dealt with it myself (knock on wood). My lfs has a purple tang that had it a few years back and the scaring is still visible. Just make sure to feed foods soaked in garlic and hopefully it will heal up for you.
