murky water in newly established tank why?

    Excuse my french, but I would go back and shove each invert up you know where. Are they stupid? Your gonna lose at least half of the CC in a matter of weeks, due to the cycling process. Dont do any WC while cycling a tank. I would try to return them or have a buddy keep them while you go through at least half way your cycle. Luna

    oh trust me i will shove every thing i bought from there way up there. they took advantage of me! i'm only 16 years old and i spent all my christmas money on this stuff. i hate them. they better at least give me store credit. do you think the stuff should be fine till tomorrow?

    ok, thats all well and good, but what are they, do you have your own test kits? if not ask them what the parameters are. all that i mentioned.

    was the LR dried base rock prior to use?
    or was the LR bought with stuff on it?
    where did the sand come from?

    not to be the bad guy here, but everyone is assuming the tank is out of whack.

    They should be fine, unless your in the middle of the cycling process, but I doubt that. If they give you a hard time, ask for the district mgr's #, regional's # and corporate's # as well. Those words usually work very well on your behalf. Luna

    the live rock was wet and there is worms that live on it and ever a few crabs were on it as well.

    Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia most importantly

    He's not going to know the #'s b/c they tested his water for him. If your going to keep with this hobby, you will need to buy the test kits and test yourself. Luna
