Thanks! I love the size of the 30 breeder. Sure beats the standard 29 gallon I started with.

I just checked this whole thread out for the first time. AWESOME tank man. I LOVE the dimensions of this tank so much it makes me wanna go buy one. And that track lighting setup is by far one of the best ways I've seen boost pars mounted ever. The whole setup makes me drool. Badass tank dude.

    Thanks Insanespain!

My new polyp rocks. I've had the smaller colony for a few weeks now. They are a bright green. I got the top rock today and they are a darker greenish blue.

    Awesome tank. :)

For those par30s - are they the 4 blue/1 white or the 3 blue/2 white? Are they really as blue as they look in the pictures?

They are 3 blue 2 white. As far as being as blue as in the pictures? No way! Are they blue? Absolutely. When I take pictures with my phone it captures almost all the blue and no white even when I mess with the different settings on the camera. So the true color isn't really represented.

They are more of a 14k look. I think it's perfect. BoostLED's are fantastic for the quality and price.

Say, I didn't think it was really that much.

I was thinking about going the 4b/1w, but I wasn't sure how blue they really were. Do you think this would be too blue? I don't want a 20,000k for my daylights. lol.

Oh, and I have the standard 29g. It's definitional difficult to come up with a good 'scape, but I found one eventually, and I'm stickin' to it. For my 2 island 'scape, I'll be going with two 60* and one 40* optics in the middle.

From what I remember about my conversations with BoostLED before I made my purchase (and I could very well be wrong) the 4 blue 1 white replicate a 20k look.

I went with all 60 degree optics.

Picked up a Banggi Cardinal Saturday. One of my favorite fish and I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. Seems to be getting along fine with the Chromis and Clown.

For those that have followed this build... Some new pictures. I recently added a new shroom. Not sure what kind it is?

It looks like a red mushroom to me. I have several in my tank.
