    Hmmm... interesting. I could see the CuC making quick work of the worm, but I've had worms drop the crown before and nothing in my tank would touch it. I could be wrong, but I thought for sure you'd at least find that lying around.

    EDIT: I just happened to recall with my very first tank- the crown vanished, and I wasn't too sure the worm was still in the tube. Roughly a month later, the worm reappeared - still in it's original tube - with a new crown, and at the base of the tube was a dozen baby featherdusters. Exactly how long has it been "missing"?

    Sorry for the temporary hijack,but no crown,never seen a body (and trust me,i looked for days),just found an empty tube one day.So I just filed it under the unsolved reef mysteries file.lol.

    Yes I did see it,and yes i took the tube out,it was a soft tube worm,so i could feel the entire tube,there was no worm in it.When i first added it to my tank,i could feel the worm jerking around in it's tube,kinda freaked me out,lol.

    Guess he's really a goner, then... sorry.

    Yeah, that is a weird feeling. Could only imagine how much more freaked out they are. lol

    Very nice Mr. B!!! Tank is looking good nice and clean!! I 100% agree about mechanical filtration. I stopped doing it two years ago and I gotta say. It feels fantastic.:wink3:

    Yep, you can stress and work your tail off with it, or let nature help out then relax and enjoy the hobby just a little more. :)
