Thank you, Vinny. Oddly enough, it and the Cabbage Leather are doing much better under lower lighting. They didn't grow much at all under the ATI bulbs.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Mr.Bill you gonna get the Toadstool police after you. You need to upgrade to at least a 75 gallon tank for that puppy. 8)

    Look great.

Your leathers are looking great, you might need a larger tank soon!

Iv read somewhere else leathers can do well in lower light, yours clearly shows that.

Thank you, Chris. I've been considering a 40B or 55BC, but I'm starting to wonder if that will be large enough. I really don't want to frag it.

I had switched to ATI Coral Plus bulbs just before I added the corals. They had trouble acclimating- took nearly two months for them to even fully open- and once they were adjusted, they really didn't grow much. They have just exploded in the past few months after I went back one 12000K and one 460nm bulbs.

To be fair, I have seen them do quite well under much more intense light in other tanks. I believe there may be other variables at play, although I wouldn't have a clue as to what they may be.

I think nutrient loads in your water have a lot to do with it. DOC can color your water enough to filter your light even though our eyes can not recognize the color difference.

Thank you, John. I'm almost as concerned as I am excited about just how large it might actually get. lol

That's a very good possibility. Along with using GAC, I also maintain some film algae. My WCs are based on algae growth rather than measurable nutrient levels. Something else, too, that I can't get a good pic of is my HOB full of Pineapple Sponges. :D

Well, I upgraded my flow from 20x to 30, and it seems my leathers like it. The Cabbage is certainly opening more, and the Toadstool is starting to develop the more traditional folds and creases in it's cap. :) With the position and direction of the powerheads, I don't have much laminar flow anymore; it's mostly random turbulence.
