MP10w ES intial impressions

Ok I literally just opened up my mp10 I got from aquacave.


build quality high in the area of the motor and wet side.

however there were two exceptions one the padding on the wet side was off a little.




and the outlet cable didn't fit very well into the ac adapter.

small problems I know but I expect none when I spend 250 dollars on a powerhead.


Operation:
I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it ran. I can barely hear it with my face near it. Noise is a big concern with me, and it met my standards without even breaking in.

I found setting the modes too complicated to figure out without the manual but pretty simple with it.

The power works perfectly with my 12 gallon tank, any larger then a 20 gallon I would recommend getting the bigger version if you plan on it being the main power head.


Disappointments from my lack of research:
Wireless means it talks to other MP's wirelessly, there is no wireless remote for it.

 

Congrats I love my MP40 deff getting a MP60 for my big tank.
