hey guys, do you guys have any tips on moving to a new house? this is my strategy.. and again my new house is about 20 minutes away.

moving all house appliances first, then after everything is moved remove as much water as i can and put in container, before putting corals in a container swoosh rocks a bit then put all my corals and such in a container. (cannot remove corals from rock) move to new place. pour old water in. add fresh made water.

question - do i have to acclimate my corals once the tank is set up?

    how does this sound?

and of course make sure alk/ph/temp etc is all the same.

OR! should i leave all my corals in the container for about 1 day after the tank is set up then add?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
In an 18 gallons you should be able to move a lot of the water I would think.

You probably have less than 15 gallons once you remove the rocks.

I think your fine to put the corals back in the tank after the move as long as you follow your plan for matching the parameters.

Too bad you have to move your tank is looking soooo sweet right now.

Good luck but I am sure you will be fine. Corals can spend 2 days in a box during shipping so a move should not be a huge deal.
