In brief we're moving to a bigger home, but due to the layout/floor plan of the house I've a major problem with my custom DSA 190g FOWLR. It's dimensions are 5'x27"wx29"H. There's NO place to put it and my wife's mentioned the dreaded phrase "maybe it's time to get rid of it".

Current livestock: 5" Blue face angel, 3" Flame angel, 3" Singapore, 4" Hippo tang, 5" Lt. tang, 4" orange shoulder tang, 6" orange spot rabbit, 3" Klein's butterfly.

My question is I'm considering getting a 20"wide 5 or 6ft. x 29H tank. Can this livestock subsist in a tank that narrow?

I didnt mention I've an untold amount amount of live rock. Nor did i mention the inverts. I most concerned with fish...obviously. I just put this altogether Jan-Feb of 2012 with LED's and other updated equipment as well as custom built oak stand/canopy. If i can swing it, i'll be taking all the equipment out of this and using it for a slimmer tank.

Any advice from my fellow hobbyists would be GREATLY appreciated. I really would to keep a big tank. The width is what's killing the current deal for me :(

For my two cents, I think the length is the important thing for fish to have a nice length of swimming room....you may have to do with a little less live rock to make a little more room width wise.....
