since i added a koralia 1 to my biocube 29, my mushrooms (hairy green) are getting to much flow. the spot where i have the ph is the only spot i can put it (top of the tank left hand side, 3/4 to the front of the tank pointing at foward and down at a 30 degree angle) if you can get the pic. i was thinking of putting them mid way down in the tank off to the side, however the spot doesnt have as much light. i only have pc's. currently where they are, before i added the ph, they had spilt a few times on their own. i was going to add some xenia if i moved the mushrooms. (put the xenia were the muchrooms were) what do you think?

The mushrooms probably wont care where you put them. Every time I move my hairy mushrooms they split. I have even buried some under rocks and cut them off into multiple pieces while trying to keep them from my SPS corals but they keep on dividing and growing. Make sure your water quality is good or Xenias may suffer.

Maybe take that korilla back if its new and you still can and try a korilla nano or 2 on both sides of the tank so get a calmer more even flow??

i "lost" a mushroom only to find him happily living under a rock and recieving almost no light at all. if it's between low light and high flow i'd put them in the low light, you could place a rock in front of them to break up the flow also

Mushrooms are pretty hardy so just keep the flow to a minimum on them and should be ok. I have read on other forums that some reefers were considering putting several different mushroom spiecies in a blender and dumping them back into tank to see if they wouuld morph and come back !
