Moving a 75 gal Reef Tank

I put my rock in plastic totes from walmart when i moved. I loaded the totes put water in then rock. Just made sure they was covered. I figure the drive would provide circulation. I kept the sand in the 40gal, coral i packed in tote so they couldnt move. The fish I put in a container with air stone and set in front. Didnt have a LFS to help pack, so i did it myself. Just lost coralline on the tank above the water line. I left about 1 inch to cover sand. The tank was the last thing me and wife loaded and first thing i started sitting up.

 

Oh yea take buckets of RODI water it helps.

 

what are the buckets of RO water for? I never needed anything like that for moving a tank . . .
