my last question was my live rock i, i have 2 samll pieces with some polyps on and also one large piece with polyps on. do i bag these in water or can they just be wrapped in salty newspaper and then just place it into the cartons i have

I would keep everything moist and with the LR that has corals on them keep them in water. Just remember as well you are going to kick start a new cycle with disturbing the eco system.

    +1 on Scenario for me

if its wet now, as in under water then keep it wet
if its damp now, as in water cascades over it but does not submerge it keep it damp

the sand will need a real good clean/ rinse using some of the tank water as that is the most likely place any parameter issues will arise from ( disturbing the sand bed )

so make plenty of new water up in advance so you can replace whats lost through rinsing

how far are you moving? as if you can strip and re set up in same day, the filter etc willl be OK IMO ( power outs of 8 hours in UK never materialised any parameter spikes , hence I am of the opinion not much bacteria was lost)

You're going to need some huge jacks, a crane and a very large tractor truck...

OH, you're not moving the actual HOUSE! My bad.

IMO, like others said, the most important thing is keeping everything that contains bacteria, wet and aerated.
In the case of the filter media, the sponge, bio balls and ceramic needs so stay wet. The carbon etc. doesn't necessarily need to remain wet, just rinsed properly before being re-introduced.
All your fish, corals and live rock need to also stay submerged and aerated.

How far away will you be going? Anything under than 10-12 hours, I wouldn't be too worried.

The fish should be kept in individual packaging with oxygen. You can prob ask your LFS to package them up if you don't have access to oxygen tanks. Same applies to nems and clams if you have any.

If you got live sponges, don't let them be exposed to air and all other corals, should also be completely submerged throught the move.

As far as the sand goes, especially if it's a DSB, like others said, nitrate spike is expected and a re-cycle after you set up will occur.
IMO, I would get some Cyle / Stress Zyme to help with the bacteria re-build.
