    i definitely say lights and flow, if you think about it these are the main things you need in order to keep coral. sure a skimmer is good but not a necessity. you can easily have a reef tank without one. i have been doing that for years.

    as long as youve got a tank good lights and good flow your set, along with a filter. doesnt even ahve to be a nice filter.

    Personally I'm gonna say my tank, ........ Yeah, definitely my tank. It would all look silly if just placed in my kids play pool. So my tank is the most important piece I own. Second would then be lighting, of course....;D
