thank you guys I got it for 30$. I'm keeping it under 4 36w t5 about 12in down with pretty good flow on it. I have a monti cap right under it and it's growing great, so I hope this likes it too. I see the mouths out like the cap, so I'm feeling pretty good right now

it's been taking some time to get used to my t5s from the mh that it was under so it's been going a little slow as far a growth, but it's happy and healthy. I'm hoping it's just going to take some time before it really gets going like the moti cap did.

The Frag I had fell off the rock it was on and landed upside down on top of my redplanet acro. Right before the lights went out sbd went unnoticed all night. They battled and the setosa lost and part got damaged...I hope it'll survive...

bummer man! I'm trying to refine my method of attaching frags, I'm thinking I need to go to the epoxy superglue sandwich method instead of just superglue. How big is the frag? how bad is the damage? I hope it makes it.

I almost never do anything other than epoxy with super glue gel. Just about every time I've tried going with only the gel something bad happens.

The Frag is on a rock disk and it was sitting on a flat piece of rock. I guess a hermit must have knocked it off or something. The damage hasn't gotten any worse to it will hopefully recover. I need to invest in some epoxy. I have been using just super glue and it doesn't seem to hold well enough.

Do you use the super glue gel? I have had great luck with the gel never had any frags come off the rock they are attached to. If you glue and then submerse in a small bowl of water and let sit for a few minutes before putting back in your tank you shouldnt have a problem. I am the opposite though I havent had much luck with the epoxy.

I bought a bottle of "coral glue " which seems like repackaged superglue gel. Ill have to try yer way and see if that helps.

Be sure its the gel though, the other stuff is way to runny. DO NOT buy any off brand glue either, use the Super Glue brand.
