Good luck with it. For some reason mine just doesn't want to grow much. It seems to just showing grow some then die some.

LUCKYYY!!! Probably like most other Monti's in regards to lighting and flow.At my LFS they had the frags and mother colony under 20K MH about 2 1/2 ft. from the water surface and the corals were only about 3 inches from the water surface. They also had the tank on a wavemaker with a fan blowing on the surface every few minutes that would agitate it.

I got 8x54 t5 and its about half way up and about 2ft from my mp40 on a short pulse wave. Maybe I should move it further away.

Very nice coral eh? I have mine lower and it seems to grow better in low light...I have (3) 175w MH in and (2) 54w t5 above it. My piece is about a foot down.
