Montipora cap. placement...

I was afraid of the same thing with my new (first sps monti's), I have 2x1300gph constant flow ph's and I have been trying to keep them out of the direct flow fearing it would tear up the polyps... Sounds like that's completely un-necessary. Does this change wether they're encrusting or plating??
Here's the list of frags and I have most about 2/3 towards the surface... Haven't attached anything permanently yet either wondering about best placements...
Rainbow minti
Sunset monti (orange w/green polyps)
Superman/poker star
Blue polyp
Purple rim
Green plating
Orange digi
Superman

I know it's a lot for a starter try at sps but all have new growth and digi is got over 1/8" in three weeks!

Just wondering which like more or less light? Any of them deepwater or shallows?

Can't see it. If it's brown, it's not getting the appropriate light.

 

monti is growing fast.... will post pics on a new thread about growth os corals under 10w flood lights...
