I have a coral banded shrimp. Should I take the molted exoskeleton out of the tank. Is there any added benefit to leaving it in the tank?

I would take it out. I'm not sure it will negatively affect your tank, but the skeleton makes it look like something is dead in there...kinda gross.

I take mine out. Most cuc wont eat it or do anything with it and i dont think there is any benefit to leaving it in either. If u can get to the molt just take it out.

I also leave all of mine in. They are broken down by the CUC/water movement within a day.

I left mine in. It usually got pushed around by the current until one of my open brain corals would catch it and eat it whole.
