    I went through the same thing when I bought my 29g Biocube from Marine Depot, after three cracked tanks I finally told them to give me a refund and I went and purchased it locally.

    thanks, tomorrow Im going to add eggcrate on bottom of the tank, to be extra careful since I dont want to get a crack from too heavy rock work. Adding some fiji pink dead sand, rocks, then start my tank.

    By the way, can I just add eggcrate, or will they be bad for the tank by releasing something to water?

    Just set the eggcrate right in the bottom of the tank. It will be fine.

    if i wanted to get jawfish, should I put rock in first after the eggcrates?

    hmm...I'm not sure what purpose the eggcrate would serve if it wasn't directly under the rocks. It's only there so the rock doesn't slide.

    egg crate on the bottom of the rock yes just leave an area in a corner that has rock rubble so it can burrow!:)
