    I think I posted this before, but for me the biggest ones were:
    -not drilling my DT before I had it going and cycled and some fish.
    -adding too many fish too fast

    My biggest mistake in one year in the hobby was buying corals online. Ordered almost $200 worth of nice bright corals from Mr Coral and received total garbage. He didn't even send me the corals that I ordered, just sent me some random pieces. Never again will I buy corals online.
