Hey all, I've had a 29g Biocube for a little more than a year now. Parameters are fine, but I have fish missing  At first, I blamed my peppermint fish, who I saw carnivorously devour a couple of my snails after clearing out my Aiptasia problem. So far I've lost a firefish and a Mandarin Goby to what I thought to be them. The reason I believed it was the shrimp is due to the fact that no bodies have been found. After the goby's disappearance I got rid of the shrimp. But now, recently one of my Chromis has gone MIA. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I found my clowns in the back chambers of the filter. They jumped the wall. If I hadn't looked there they may have been eaten by bacteria and never seen.

My clowns did the same thing. I checked but the fish aren't there.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Do you have a lid, not all biocubes do.

Do you have a large Serpent star?

Have you looked at night for crabs or mantis?

Are your fish dying because of disease or decline in water conditions and the CUC is just so efficient they eat the remains before you can notice the missing fish.

What are your paeans like? I've list fish on my 90 and will find them the next day almost totally eaten in one day.

I have a lid, saw a very tiny(no bigger than my thumb nail) star a couple months ago, I have looked at night and found nothing but the star and some copepods. For my CUC I only have a couple Turbo's left.

Do you use rodi water? Could it be a build up of phosphates?
