The back of my QT is mirrored. I'm thinking that could stress my fish. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with on that?

    It's probably not helpful...

Make sure there is plenty of hiding places! PVC parts and what not

imo sell it and get another. The new fish is already stressed and that could keep it from wanting to come out to eat etc.

Yeah, I would definitely get another tank. IME it can definitely stress out the fish. Petco is having their dollar per gallon sale right now ;)

I've had the back of my tank mirrored for over a year and have had no ill effects to my fish. My Hippo prefers to be close to the mirror side when at all possible. So I'm taking the devils advocate on this one.

I figured I'd play it safe and swap it out. Since Petco is having their $1/gallon sale, it was an easy decision. :)
