Midwest Coral Farm Closing! Need new LFS In Northern IL

Midwest Coral Farms is closing its doors to focus on being a Wholsale Facility. I honestly feel betrayed! I have been a loyal customer for 2+ years and spent alot of money there! Not to mention, they know me by name and always give me a great military discount! I have no idea where to shop now! I live at Naval Station Great Lakes, and MCF was alleady a 20 minute drive. Does anyone know any other good LFS where I can get good priced corals? The selection at MCF was unbeatable and I have not been able to find any other LFS close to me with as good of a selection. Fish Planet honestly sucks, they are close to me, but their coral selection is tiny, and overpriced, plus I see a ton of Aptasia and Majano in their tanks. I dont know any other close places. Help please!

 

Online vendors can be a nice change of pace...but make sure it is a WYSIWYG site. Shipping can hurt, but if you save up for a large order, most sites offer free S&H for orders over $200.

Living sea aquarium is an overpriced dump. Do not waste your time with them. Online purchasing is always a hassle unless you are a shut in and can wait by the door all day. I live up in your area (Great Lakes) and the best (reliable and reasonable) are shotank in Mundelin, fish Planet in Deerfield. Great stores and owners. If your up for a drive old town aquarium in Chicago has hard to find items but you will pay for them.

I didn't know how Living Sea was, I just found it on Google Maps and I noticed it was close to Midwest Coral Farm. I wouldn't know any other stores near there, since I live in Florida.
