Bought a Midas blenny about a week and a half ago. He's been really shy, but for the past couple of days he's been coming out of the crevices and swimming around. His left eye seems to look foggy-ish compared to his right. The right eye is a beautiful clear turquoise color. I think he was like that when I bought him but didn't notice because he was hiding when I first saw him at the lfs. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to help "cure" it? He's acting normal and eating healthy. Will take any considerations.

One foggy eye is generally a sign of a water quality issue, traditionally ammonia exposure symptom. It can also be a bacterical infection. From what i read its not a spread type thing like ich and stuff though. I had the same thing in my dog face puffer. For me i fed with lots of foods soaked in selcon, zoe, garlic, etc and it cured itself.

I wouldn't stress to much about it if it's not spreading. Just keep feeding him a varied diet and keep your parameters good and it will probably heal on its own.

Thanks you guys. Yeah my water quality is pretty spot on along with the help of my reef octopus. I kinda described it wrong. It looks kinda like a scar maybe? The pupil isn't very visible and somewhat is narrow.
