    i know it is typically used in fw dips .but is it anywhere near as effective used in a saltwater dip?

    in other words would it work if i put my fish in a separate container of tank water after acclimation and added the methylene blue to that water?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It would not be my first choice, as it mainly targets fungal, but this link seem to be a good one for it's use. Sorry if you have already seen it.
