mess after mess.. i need advice. PLEASE.

No he was leaving it fish less to let the ick run its life cycle and die, which they say to do for 6 weeks. But he is only 4.5 weeks into it.

 

yea what he said. no i dont have copper on my display.. copper its on my QT tank. with the rest of my fish.
my 29DT is running fishless for 4.5 weeks now.

 

yea.. apparently washing my tank didnt shorten the time i was supposed to wait ... ugh im so frustrated.

 

My advice to you now is to purchase Marine-Max and add to the display, wait one day, then re-acclimate your fish back into the display. The QT is a stressful environment when used the way you used it. I am not criticizing you as you did what you thought was best. The red mark could also be from a fish "hitting" it (attacking it). The Marine-Max is a proven product for warding off disease by bolstering the immune system of fish. I use it.

 

marine max? does any one else recommended it? i dont think there was any violence in the tank..... or at least i never saw anything.
