Have you checked your filter? It is very possible the anenome got sucked up in it. If you are 100% its not in your tank. I'm willing to bet its in there.

yeah ii took all the filter and pumps and all that stuff out cleaned them in an effort to remove toxins. took all the rocks out and inspected them closely for any remains only way its in there is if its buried in the sand . i sitll am at a loss how it was fine the other day annd over night gone... it was about 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall.healthy for 6 months then gone with out a trace in less then 12 hrs .... but ill look more into that after i save whats left in the tank.. all the fish died today only an eel and all the inverts remain.

well i went ahead with the water change and siphoned the sand out. we took all the rocks out and found 2 with goo in afew crevices, im tihnking this may be the remains of the missing nem. those 2 rocks are being boiled and boiled and boiled some more. then they will be bleached let dry boiled afew more times. let dry in the sun and boiled again in RO water, then my last thing im going to do is put the 2 rocks in a 5 gallon tank with a carbon reactor in it with fresh ro water and let it run for a week or so.... what do you guys think ?
