When starting out with a new tank, what medications/additives would be key to have on hand when starting out?

    Whats needed for FOWLR?

Whats needed for Full Reef Tank?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Nooze, the liveaquaria catalog often post an excellent list of medications and indications for their use. I will see if I can find an issue with that list.

+ kajillion on Prime or similar product.

Carbon is always a great idea.

Something to raise pH in case you have to freshwater dip a fish and an airline to throw in a bucket.

Battery operated air pumps..... and extra EXTRA batteries.

The meds I have hanging around is Furan-2, Crypto Pro, Cupramine, Prazi Pro....

If possible, have enough saltwater mixed and stored to do a nice water change as well as some RO/DI on hand. I can't tell you the number of times that has saved us.
