Is the glass to the back compartments clear? If so, you could run something like: JBJ Nano-Glo

If it's not, you could try and MAKE it clear. If that still wouldn't work, a submersible 10W light would work...the wiring is pretty thin. Something like this: 10W Underwater Light

I have a question though since we're on the subject...I've got some chaeto growing in my DT and it usually gets trapped at the entrance of my overflow. How do you secure the chaeto in one of the chambers? Do you need a big enough ball or can you put the little bit into a filter type bag that allows light to penetrate?

I can't opine on the Aquapod but I have an exotica stunner LED strip on the back of my JBJ Nano and it grows Chaeto like crazy. I just taped it to the back of the tank, the stunner strip provides light for almost the entire height of the compartment. This way more of the algae gets light (vs. just at top) because the compartment is higher than it is wide.

Just remember to swirl the Chaeto in your WC water periodically because it acts as a mechanical filter (catches detritus). Otherwise, it will (ironically) be the source of Nitrate.
