Hey guys I just set up my Next reef Mr1 Shorty Media Reactor with Eheim 600 Compact Pump today running rowaphos inside it. For whatever reason even full blast(160 gph) it seems like the rowa isn't even tumbling at all... Currently I am only running 10 grams of rowa on my nano tank and plan to bump it up to 20 grams after about a month or so. I'm really confused why even such a tiny amount of media isn't tumbling even on full blast, this pump goes even 20-30 gph higher then the pump nextreef even recommends...I'm very confused to what I could be doing wrong, does anyone have any idea's? P.S. I can provide pictures of how it's set up and the reactor itself if needed.

Is water coming out of the out hose? If so, you may have the in line on the wrong end. If not, there is a blockage.

    More information would help.

Yes water is coming out of the exit hose. I did notice that there are a billion of micro-bubbles getting in the tank since I installed it so I'm wondering what that is all about, maybe like Servillius said there is some blockage going on. But if there is why is water still coming out into the tank....Here is a basic schematic of how it is set up and a pictures. Any idea's or further question on the set up let me know.....P.S. The reactor is currently on a box because I thought the elevation would help(It's about the height it would be if I hung it on the tank maybe an inch higher)...

I'm not sure but I am following this post. This is the reactor I was planning on buying for my tank.

Alright well just so youk now there was nothing wrong with the reactor or the way set it up....The only problem was that you need to use more rowa than I was using......I was using so little that it wasn't creating any back pressure therefor not tumbling......P.S. I figured out after emailing Nextreef and they responded the same day very quickly......Excellent customer service!
