    My first question is: Will a GFO media reactor really get rid of my Cyano?
    I dont have a big cyano problem, but it keeps showing up in small groups, and I HATE IT. I really cant seem to get rid of it.

    My second question has nothing to do with my first question, but my LFS has a HUGE sale this weekend and I am hoping to get my final fish.
    WOuld 2 Helfrichs firefish fight if they are not "paired"?
    Would I have to make sure to get a male and a female?

    I would like to know the answer to this question too. Also, browsing through that thread, it doesn't touch on cyano, only micro algae, unless I missed something, cyano and micro algae feed off different elements. Phosphates vs. nitrates.

    I think the point of the thread was to show the overall affects on the media. But, I honestly did not read through every page yet.
