Maybe going to add another 50lbs of rock?

    Im pretty sure that I could fit another 50lbs of rock in my tank to give it some more height and stability anyone think this isnt a good idea? here is a FTS. There was a algae bloom this morning also water is a little hazy dont know why yet.

    Here's my thought. Yes you can add it but is it necessary and will you need the additional space so that your fish can swim, and will the new arrangement have any effect on your corals? If no effect, I'd say go for it!

    Thanks for the input and it shouldnt have much of any effect on my coral im planning on moving towards SPS anyways so a little more surface area to glue them to will do me good i think :) I was planning on adding the new rock to the back and bottom of the tank if i did.

    I'd say go ahead and add it... are you planning on live rock or dry rock? my recommendation is dry rock... not only is it going to save you money since you already have live rock to seed the new rock, but you will not experience die off associated with adding new live rock.

    Yes ill deff be adding dry rock ordering it from Macro rocks. Thanks :) Would like to come up with a new aquascape but with my coral already in place it will be tough.
