First pics I've posted of my reef tank. Tank has been running for about 2 years but i lost much of my corals and live stock last summer from an AC failure during the hottest week of the summer (of course). clown, tang, and chromis survived and naturally the kenya tree never flinched but everything else died. I'll post some pics of my new zoa frags soon but i cant seem to find the sweet spot with my camera to get good close-ups from front viewing panel :-/.

    Specs (in sig also):
    -110g RR
    -20~30g sump/fuge (reverse lighting)
    -Nova Extreme 6x bulb 54w
    -900 something gph (internal pump)
-changed over to a Top Fathom simmer 2 months ago from a EuroReef (nothing wrong with ER but wanted to try this TF i got for dirt cheep).
    -2x canister filters (1xGFO, 1xCarbon). BRS
    -GHL auto doser (cal,alk,mg,empty slot)
    -guessing 120 lb of LR
    -2in sand bed
    -standard CUC (Herms, snails, Emeralds)
    -5 stage RODI. BRS
    -ATO 5g

    To do's:
-lighting upgrade: Maybe Ice Caps mixed with LED. Probably MH/T5 tho (already have a chiller just sitting in closet).
-install additional sump for dedicated fuge.
-thinking about an RKE w/net but will be on hold till after i up the lighting and fuge.
-thinking about plumbing my FOWLR into my reef after i move into house this summer but not sure if this is possible or even a good idea.
-sell my car to buy bigger aquarium ---> sell my aquariums ---> have more time to sit in front of youtube and watch other people maintain their reef tanks :p

nope nope. I was worried about that too (this room is filled with large windows you cant see). The window you see behind the tank has the shade down and the tank is faced away from it anyways..

probably a little safer to do that in Chicago than here in San Antonio. i would probably have to borrow that chiller you keep in your closet. :)
