Mattias' 10g tetra tank

Yeah I wanna get one so that I can buy regular plants. I had to put a yoyo loach in there to get rid of them.

 

I took the dwarf puffer route. You took the loach out after right? Would have been way too big.

 

Heck yeah. It was there for only like a few weeks. It was only 2".

 

Little update...

I've taken down the tank. Sold all the fish. I jut need a fresh start. So here's the new plan:
1. DIY pond foam 3D background on the back and sides.
2. Aragonite sugar sand.
3. REAL PLANTS!
I'll be doing some simple java fern and other simple plants that will grow in sand.
4. New stock plan:
10 neon tetras
4 Khuli loaches

10 tetras in a 10 gallon? You could do it but it sounds a bit crowded to me. The live plants are a good idea. Little planted tanks are alot of fun. Good luck buddy and keep us posted on the progress. But I know you will. :

 

thanks i had 10 neons in the tank before i tore it down and my levels stayed 000 i just did large pwc.

 

what do you think about the aragonite in a fresh tank?
