The Matte File fish has been known to eat aiptasia but also may feed on small inverts and nibble on lps and sps.You could make matters worse by adding one.It may or may not help with the glass nems.

Bristletail/matted filefishes will indeed feed on appies, however, it's best to keep them hungry enuff to do so. Unfortunately, in a reef setting, this means they may also decide to eat your other corals (as mentioned).

Our pair took about a week before the appies were gone, and the odd thing is that we never saw them eating the 'nems ourselves.

In a reef, you might consider true peppermint shrimp over A. tomentosus. As with any appie-eater, they work best when hungry.
