Thanks, guys. Got word from Marc today that my sump will ship next week. So hopefully I can post some cool sump install photos within about 10 days.

 

My sump will be here Friday! I am energized!

Also, I am filtering out the cupramine now from my QT. Reggie (PBT) has been on it for 14 days and is doing awesome. He gets out of QT technically on the 21st, but I may put him in the DT a few days early he has done so well and looks so healthy. I'm thinking Friday 7/19 for good behavior.

Oh, and my tank is exploding with what I believe are pods. Now I just need a pod eater. lol They must have hitch-hiked with my CuC.

Yes, that is the very one that was boxed for me. :O) Now hopefully FedEx treats it nicer this time. lol

I know, I've been so bummed about being derailed a bit by sump delay. That and I had a major algae bloom I was battling. Back to crystal clear now though. My sump should arrive Friday, so I'm hoping to put up some sump plumbing photos this weekend.

 

Here is my crab during feeding time. At the end he does a spiffy little cartwheel. Excuse the cloudy water, this was after a small algae bloom and some flow adjustments.

I about died when I saw him do that. lol Crazy guy, then he sees me and tries to act tough.

There is another crab that comes up to the glass and when I stick my finger on the glass he puffs up and tries to pinch me.

 

Reggie, my powder blue tang, got out of QT a week early. He did great on the cupramine and he was eating good so I thought it was time to let him stretch his fins. He jumped in right away and the other fish welcomed him in, especially my pygmy angle, who likes to swim with his new buddy. Reggie found a good sleeping hole last night and looks comfortable in the DT.

My reasoning for the early release program is to get the QT broken down and out of the way so i can plumb my sump when it arrives tomorrow. There will be video of that probably on Sunday.
